Leo Francisco Savoia
Prince Leo Francisco Savoia Casabianca (a.k.a. The Lord of Oranges)
Lord Leo Francisco Savoia of Valencia was the seventh born child of Francisco I and firstborn of Queen Elia the Red, though at the time of his birth, there was doubts surrounding his parentage. When evidence rose that his father may actually be a guard, Queen Elia was imprisoned at Fuerte de Lobos and put to death. Leo would have also died, had Elia not sent him to her father Sebastian Savoia's rooms the night before. Sebastian stole the baby from Colina Dorado and returned him to his home in Valencia.
Leo grew up under the tutelage of his grandfather, who always spoke ill of the Tosacan king, at the Casa Naranja. Here, he was given the title "Prince of Oranges," which he would one day pass to his son. Leo loved the freedom of country life and became a skilled hunter and swordsman.
In 1553, Leo married Claudia Aurelia in an arrangement with her cousin, Pontius. Though she was not happy to be married off, the two continue to have a very happy marriage. They have 5 children:
- Lucius Aurelius Savoia, named for Claudia's father.
- Sebastian Enrique Savoia, named for Leo's grandfather.
- Noelia Ines Savoia, named for Leo's Mother.
- Joanna Livia Savoia, named for Leo's grandmother and Claudia's mother.
- Miguel Roberto Savoia, named after historical Valencian kings.
