The White Sisters are a losely organized group of
Disen, that provide comfort and understanding for people who are suffering loss. They accompany people about to die as well as their families and try to comfort those left behind.
History
As Disen are highly empathic and have a high tendency to spirituallity, they naturally tend to comfort people dealing wit loss anyway. A few years ago, after a devastating fire tragically claimed the life of several young people, a Disen from Troumwarft gathered a few Disen together to support the grieving families.
Afterwards, they decided to keep providing this support to everybody and started to travel the
Chaukenlande for this purpose. Over time, the original seven members have recruited many other Disen. WHile some are travelling, most stay in their respective villages and provide comfort to those in need there.
Recognition
Many Disen are pale by nature so the color white was easily associated with them. After the events in Troumwarft, the leader recognized their efforts with gifts of some fine white silk traded from the
Isanmannen Empire. Waring a white sash became a traditional piece of clothing to identify a White Sister - thus lending to the name.
