The Source

Interchangable with the term "The True Source". An umbrella term used used by spellcasters of antiquity to describe Saidin and Saidar energies. The combination of Saidin and @saidmake up the Source, with Saidin being considered "the male half", while Saidar is "the female half".
The Source is believed to be the purest form of the Creator's essense that surrounds all of Creation. Some scholars have described the Source as an invisible container into which all of Creation exists. This is why the Source is always accessible for spellcasters.
The Source (saidin+saidar) also makes up the fuel used by the Foundation (see Fundamental Energy ).
The Source is being depleted by the Foundation and spell effects, but it is believed that its reserves are infinite. The Creator provides new Saidin and Saidar energy, sustaining Creation in perpetuity.
