Denironian Dragons
These dragons are native to Denironia. They are known for keeping hoards of gold and jewels.
Unlike Common Dragons or even Kersar Dragons, Denironian dragons are small and relatively weak creatures. While they are dangerous and deadly, they are far easier to handle than other dragon species. Denironian dragons are native to Denironia. They live in caves in small mountain ranges or nests in grassland. They structure themselves in small families of about 3-10 dragons with no particular leader or organization. These family groups hunt together during the day, but the older members will often go out on their own at night. If a family has only adults, they will often sleep all day and hunt at night. Fully grown, the average dragon will measure about 7 feet tall, 6 feet wide, and 18.5 feet long. Their wings, which emerge from the upper curve of their shoulders, have a span of about 18 feet, just inches shorter than the length of their body. They have full-body scales thick enough to prevent minor scratches but thin enough to be easily pierced by a spear or sword. Their tongues are forked like a snake. They do not breathe fire like Common Dragons, but their teeth carry venom that kills their victims within a day of biting them. Denironian dragons are known for their uncanny ability to sniff out pure gold even in its unprocessed state. They dig out the gold, mold it into shapes, and pile it in their lairs. They have a similar ability to find and collect precious jewels, keeping them mixed in with their gold. Despite their general weakness (thin scales, small size, lack of long-range defenses, etc.), Denironian dragons are incredibly dangerous to creatures smaller than them. They can run or crawl at 40 mph and fly at nearly 70 mph. Because they have no spines, spikes, or hard plates, they are also very flexible. Denironians often steal gold from them or hunt them for sport, but fatality rates are high among those who do. Because of their light magical abilities and uniqueness to Denironia, these dragons are classified as monsters.

Author's Notes
I want to turn this into a Species article after Spooktober, but this is literally all the information I have on them. They aren't that important.
