Kersar Dragons

Native to Kersar, these dragons come in many shapes, sizes, and colors. They have a wide variety of magic and other abilities.
Kersar dragons come in many different varieties, but all of them have distinctive traits. These include hard scales that range from two to six inches wide, curved spikes along their backs, horns on top of their head, and sharp claws on all four of their feet. All Kersar dragons have large wings that emerge from their front shoulders and often attach at their sides.   These dragons, although originally from Kersar, can be found all across the galaxy. They are similar to Common Dragons but never breed with them. They prefer solitude, residing in caves on lofty peaks or behind waterfalls, far from the eyes of sentient beings. Unlike Denironian Dragons, they neither hoard treasure nor look for it.   A unique feature of Kersar dragons is their ability to hold their breath for hours even under immense pressure or none at all. This allows them to swim underwater and even fly through space. Their ability to fly through space is why they can be found all across the galaxy, even systems away from their home planet.   Kersar dragons have a wide variety of other abilities, including fire breathing, magic wielding, and enhanced senses. Their hearing is very sharp, although their eyesight is relatively weak. Their other senses vary widely, with some dragons having a good sense of smell and others not. Smaller Kersar dragons have fast reflexes and larger ones are slower. When flying, however, large dragons can gather more speed and travel farther distances in less time.   Because of their magic, they are classified as monsters. Their spines are often used to make wands or scepters for mages and their blood can be used for talismans and artifacts.
