Regent Appointed

On 12th Armin, his majesty King Julian Greth announced that he would be heading north to take command of some units in the fight against the savage races. A highly skilled archer, King Julian has won the silver arrow in each of the last 4 tournaments. He also personally commanded the forces in Trem during the elven raids of 177. With him goes General Hestin Shieldbreaker, who will take overall command of Caresnas' forces, including those that will be commanded by King Julian. While it may seem unusual that the King would place himself under the command of another, this is in keeping with the tradition of the Greth and Shieldbreaker families.
While King Greth is away, he has appointed Pelin as regent. Pelin is a relatively obscure administrator who recently rose to prominence after he was appointed as the interim Duke of Filishar after the arrest of Wilbur Derspire. Perhaps as a result of the competence he showed in dealing with assorted problems in Filishar, Pelin enjoys the support of the temples and noted trading families such as the Millersons.
