Qiu Iaong, a Warchief of the Raja'ri, is a corsair of the Torrose and has spent his life on the seas surrounding the territories. His small fleet of ships prowl the waters for two reasons: wealth and safety. Qiu has always been paranoid of assassination and knows it is easier to slit a throat from within a tent on a darkened plain than it is behind a locked door one hundred miles from the nearest shore, though this train of thought has not lessened his paranoia as he has quelled many attempted mutinies on his ships and decorated his cabin door with their skulls and their severed hair braids of the defeated adorn his cabin ceiling.
