An attempt of kidnapping was made on Lady Twila Romeri, first-born of Baron Hector Romeri. The plot was uncovered by the baron's guardsman, Osmond Giffard, who was able to recover the future Baroness and slay her would-be captors. Giffard would receive a knighthood for his actions in 980 ATS and be further elevated to guard the Ladies of the Romeri Court.
