Criminal Activity
Ser Dalton Trant had been distant and cold to his court and family since the birth of his son, whom consumed his entire focus and felt his rule was being undermined by the Vaughns. In the late hours of the night of the 28th of High Sun, a small number of men deeply loyal to Trant, swept through the streets and homes of Brusel and slaughtered those he felt were a threat to his and his son's rule: political dissidents, vocal members of the clergy, straggler Fleur Loyalists, and the entire Vaughn Bloodline, including his wife Léa Trant. His daughters would be smuggled out the city by their elderly nurse maid and their wet nurse by horseback in a pair of saddlebags. The nurse maid would be cut down in defense of Lady Trant, while the wet nurse would be felled by arrow fire. The horse would continue to flee despite being peppered with arrows.
