Introduction
As people tend to do, the followers of the Order designated a few dates as days of celebration or mourning. While some of these days are dedicated to private worship, the majority is a time of public celebration.
Private:
- The 11th year: In order to honour the great work that the founders of the Order did, every member of the church must dedicate the 11th year of their life to read and copy as many books as they can from those that are in their family's possession. While this practice is dictated by the tenets, few people actually follow it, on the basis of 'they couldn't read and copy any more'.
- The day of Mourning: The 1st of July and the day of the first Probare's death. This day is spent in silence as the faithful pay respect to their fallen prophet.
- Ostinatos' day: On the day of Ostinatos, the last sunday of the autumn, everyone is supposed to work until midnight, honouring the ever-working Mechanism.
Public:
- The day of Learning: The day of first snowfall in the year, this is the day when the Probare appeared and began his teachings. This day is about celebration and the sharing of knowledge. On this day, all libraries and places of learning must open their gates to all.
- Semernos' day: The beginning of the year, Semernos' day is widely celebrated even among non-believers. On this day, many people join together in a public feast, usually in the town's market square and enjoy ale, meat and performances provided by others. Many people make vows for the coming year on this day to achieve things they always wanted to.
- Enequila's day: The last day of the year and the day of Royal Judgement. A tradition among rulers following the religion, where the ruler listens to any of their subjects in need of judgement.
- Machina's day: Every day is Machina's day as she embodies the Great Mechanism. The faithful flock to the temples at the sound of their bells to pray and learn about the Order.
- Perviga's day: The last day of spring and the beginning of the hunting season. It is said that on this day, the sound of an Order temple deafens the unbelievers.
- Elevalos' day: The 11th day of the 11th month, Elevalos's day is about giving to those in need of help. On this day and sometimes during the entire week, nobles are obligued to give food and clothing to the poor.
