Summary
The manager of Yakisoba Yashiki, a themed restaurant-slash-hotel in Shimonoseki that promises to treat its guests like Western nobility. Mikhail originally hails from Mavrovlachia, where he served as a noble warden for the many dangerous prisoners kept there under lock and key. For reasons he refuses to fully delve into, Mikhail was exiled from his home. Rumors abound regarding exactly what sin he might have committed. All agree on one point: Mikhail Etxeberria grew far too close with one of his prisoners. Without any further purpose, Mikhail used his considerable wealth and linguistic prowess to fulfill his dream of traveling the world. Eventually, he landed in Japan, a land so strange and distant from his own that he need not fear the reputation of himself or his race. After some years sampling the cuisine and culture, he founded Yakisoba Yashiki in the international port and settled down as manager. On the surface, Mikhail is a charming and hospitable host; an exotic addition to the medley of people and places that make up Shimonoseki. Some nearby residents complain of strange lights and screams in the night, however. What dark secrets might this cunning Vampir have brought with him from his far-distant homeland?
