Yakisoba Yashiki

A themed restaurant-slash-hotel in Shimonoseki that promises its guests the experience of being Western nobility for a night. Despite its eastern name, the structure has been built in the style of a Mavrovlachian mansion, complete with extensive gardens and a small chapel to the side. The hotel's manager, Hospodar Mikhail, commissioned it as such to remind him of his home in Mavrovlachia, to which he may never return.   Yakisoba Yashiki sits brooding on a low hill less than a quarter mile from the outskirts of Shimonoseki. Its clientele are mostly wealthy oni and Japanese humans with a taste for the exotic. Hospodar Mikhail built the hotel many years ago, during the reign of the Ōuchi Clan, but suffered little disruption when the town fell under Mōri control instead. Indeed, Mōri Motonari herself is known to favor the Western take on Eastern noodles that the on-site restaurant offers.   Some residents of Shimonoseki, mostly those who live on the outskirts of the city, report strange lights and noises coming from the direction of Yakisoba Yashiki at night. The owner, Mikhail, does admit to being something of a night owl by nature, but consistently, calmly, and charmingly maintains that he has no idea what these protesting residents are talking about.
