He Who Invites, Izanagi-no-Mikoto (a.k.a. 伊邪那岐命)
Summary
Izanagi-no-Mikoto is the imperious husband of Izanami-no-Mikoto, Japanese goddess of the underworld. It is said that together, the two created the islands of the Empire of Japan, and begat many lesser gods. Izanami eventually passed away while giving birth to Kagutsuchi, and was sent to the underworld, where Izanagi's subsequent rescue attempt failed disastrously, enraging Izanami further and cementing her place as Queen of Yomi. Famously, when Izanagi sealed the entrance to the underworld, Izanami claimed that she would kill a thousand humans a day, to which Izanagi replied that he would give life to two thousand. After these events, Izanagi-no-Mikoto took up his place as the leader of the Japanese pantheon, ruling over the other gods from Takamagahara, the Celestial Realm. He is known to be a wise, kind, and majestic ruler; the ideal of a perfect king, and is worshiped both by leaders and those who seek order everywhere throughout the country.Divine Domains

The character gains a special bonus to the Style secondary ability equal to their total Elan level with Izanagi.Cost: 5 | Requirements: Elan 10 Attractive Mien: This gift causes the holder to attract attention to themselves wherever they go, and raise the interest of all those they meet. They may not, however, avoid being the center of attention at all times, which may be a boon or a disadvantage, depending on the situation.
Cost: 10 | Requirements: Elan 20 Historical Knowledge: Devout worshipers of Izanagi benefit from his ancient nature, gaining a vast knowledge of the country's history. This gift grants its bearer a special bonus to the History secondary ability equal to their total Elan level with Izanagi.
Cost: 10 | Requirements: Elan 30 Sense Imperfections: A character with this gift can sense imperfections in others' behavior or bodies. They may easily recognize negative personality traits in others, such as unstable or nervous dispositions, physical wounds, or even disease.
Cost: 10 | Requirements: Elan 40 Sense Order: This gift allows its bearer to perceive the natural order of things as well as any chaotic or supernatural alterations in their surroundings. The higher the character's total Elan with Izanagi, the greater the extent of this ability.
Cost: 5 | Requirements: Elan 40 Aesthetic Perfection: The holder of this gift sees their physical appearance begin to change until it reaches unparalleled levels of beauty. From the time they take this gift, their Appearance score increases by 1 each week until reaching 10.
Cost: 5 | Requirements: Elan 50 Physical Perfection: A character who bears this gift is transformed into a perfect example of vitality and health. They become immune to disease and all natural poisons, and no longer take any penalty for having low levels of fatigue. In addition, they are immune to all negatives related to advanced age.
Cost: 15 | Requirements: Elan 50, Aesthetic Perfection Order Aura: This gift allows the holder to gradually eliminate chaos from their surroundings. Events fall into place more naturally, and unusual or unexpected events become less frequent. In addition, nearby characters with a Gnosis of 10 or lower begin to act in a more orderly fashion, and develop a greater sense of respect for the bearer.
Cost: 10 | Requirements: Elan 60 Izanagi's Essence: The character's closeness to Izanagi's perfect reign eliminates all of his or her weaknesses. A worshiper with this gift sees all of his or her disadvantages, whether natural or supernatural, gradually disappear, at a rate of one per month. The benefit gained from these disadvantages is not affected.
Cost: 20 | Requirements: Elan 70 Unable to Err: The bearer of this gift ever approaches complete perfection in his or her actions. From the point they obtain this blessing, they no longer fumble on a roll of 1, 2, 3, or otherwise.
Cost: 10 | Requirements: Elan 70 Divinity: Izanagi's blessing pushes the bearer of this gift beyond his or her physical and mental limits. The character's characteristics all begin to rise at a rate of 1 point per week until reaching 11. This gift has no effect on characteristics already at 11 or higher.
Cost: 20 | Requirements: Elan 80, Physical Perfection Immortality: The bearer's synchronization with Izanagi is such that they entirely stop aging. From this point forward, the character can only be killed by violent causes.
Cost: 10 | Requirements: Elan 90, Physical Perfection Absolute Perfection: Izanagi's chosen becomes an entirely divine being, their actions utterly perfect and beyond reproach. Once this gift has been granted, the character may choose to replace the result of any ability or resistance roll with a 100, and any characteristic roll with a 10. Achieving a 100 or a 10 in this manner does not activate an open roll, or add 3 in the case of characteristic rolls. This decision may be made before or after the dice have been cast, as long as the effects of the action have not yet been resolved.
