The new syre must be of noble birth and must be the oldest, living son of the current syre.
Appointment
The syre is appointed to office through a simple ceremony in which he is crowned by a priest of Coitism, signifying his right to rule.
Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
The syre can only be removed through unconventional means, such as rebellion or usurpation as the nation of Sylide is an absolute monarchy.
