Herold

A synonymous denomination for a Harper at least it is often, incorrectly used as such. When used correctly a Herold is a Harper who specialized in messaging as well as protocol duties and often as archivist.
So it basically is a profession for Harpers.

There is at least one kingdom where the Herolds are not only trained Harpers but also trained active magic users. They serve as representatives, ambassadors and special agents for the king or queen.
