The Speed of Spells

"We categorize spells in terms of effect, of reach, of the spell domain they belong to and many other things. However, not all those classifications have a foundation in nature, how could they as we search for order where there might be none? We force measurements and stereotypes on magic when it is unbound, chaotic, orderly, wild, free all at the same moment in time. But some things about spellcasting we can measure, see, and evaluate. Today's lecture is about some of those."
