From a young age, Mia has been spoiled by her entire family, even the maids. She believed she was going to marry prince Ulrich and become queen. Eventually, she did marry Ulrich but Retter was the new King. When Mia was 21, she became the Head Dame. When she was 32, Mia was still Jealous of her cousin. Mia and Roderick devised a plan to Poison Frieda, and Mia would use a love potion to make Retter fall in love with her, that way she would become Queen. It didn't work as Frieda was given an antidote before the poison could kill her and Retter was enraged. He killed the entire Lancelot family. Mia was preparing to sleep when she was killed by Retter.

One day Mia dragged Frieda with her to the market and forced her cousin to carry her items. When Mia was busy looking at the dresses, Frieda saw Retter and went over to him. Mia noticed and shrieked Frieda's name, stomping over to her and berating her until she noticed a Retter. She clutched onto his arm and tried flirting with him but he was disgusted by her behavior and yelled at her to get off him, which took her off guard. Embarrassed, Mia tried acting like it was no big deal, glaring at Frieda and telling her to follow her. On the Inside, Mia was absolutely embarrassed and accused Frieda of doing something to make the handsome red-eyed man yell at her.
