Secret Inscription III

Tertia and one of the Roman scouts entered the ruins of Amneda to explore what happened. In the Temple of Mercury, they found another broken statue of the woman urging silence, and down below where she had been standing, an inscription that read:

Then the Reptile-gods, as their parents before them, set about the act of creation. In the Outer Planes, and upon the Mortal World and in the Feywild and the Shadowfell, they brought forth the ancient races. So it was that on the face of Tyllus there came to be troglodytes and lizard folk, Yuan-Ti and kobolds, and in the Outer Planes there came to be demons and devils, slaadi and mind flayers, and all the various sentient beings which resemble fish, reptiles, and other cold-blooded animals. And these beings worshipped their creators, and the Reptile-gods ruled the Omniverse for 10,000 years.
