Kaldrik Raventhrall
Kaldrik (a.k.a. Raventhrall)
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Raventhrall is a well-built man. He has tanned skin, black hair, crimson eyes, and a body covered in battle scars.
Body Features
His entire body is covered in scars and unhealed bruises from all his previous battles. When he enters Rage, his body creates red vein-like markings that cover most of himself.
Special abilities
Raventhrall's Noble Phantasm is Dance of Shadows-Evisceration of Bloodstone. Upon activation, Raventhrall begins to channel every ounce of rage and vengeance into his soul and blades. He begins attacking anything and everything that his swords can reach. He practically becomes a cyclone of death. His blades gain the ability to cut through anything that isn't a powerful magical barrier.
Apparel & Accessories
Raventhrall, as a Berserker servant, wears a set of scavenged/handmade armor consisting of metal plates, worn leather, and intimidating spikes, reflecting the hodgepodge nature of his bandit horde. He carries an assortment of belts and straps, each adorned with trophies and trinkets stolen from his victims. All of it is worn above a simple yet intimidating black and red leather attire. He eventually dons his signature war chief cloak, made out of a black bear hide and covered in black feathers.
Specialized Equipment
Raventhrall's signature weapons of choice are a pair of identical basket-hilted broadswords. Their basket guards are made of a combination of bronze and the bones of hunted game. The handles are made of pure ivory and are engraved with a spiraling design. He uses these swords in a dual-wielding fighting style that involves a lot of spins and transfer of momentum. Sometimes, he holds one sword in forward grip and another in reverse grip, primarily to cover his backside.
Mental characteristics
Personal history
Kaldrick was born in a small village in the territory of Whelliston. When he was only a teenager, he witnessed his village be violently destroyed and pillaged by a large group of bandits. While he and a few others hid in basements and lockers, the rest of the village turned into nothing. Witnessing such a huge trauma, he had sworn an oath of vengeance against all those who wronged him. Rallying the remnants of his village, he would soon turn to his own dark side.
Now claiming the alias of "Raventhrall," he began an endless journey through Whelliston and beyond. He targeted seemingly well-defended towns and villages and utterly destroyed them with his powerful shock tactics and psychological warfare. With his expanding team of raiders increasing in both numbers and power, so did its notoriety. Local towns and villages became greatly wary of this gang and their sheer destructive power.
On Raventhrall's 6th great raid, him and his commanders began the monumental task of taking over a major city. They knew that if they successfully stormed a city, they would have more power than any lord ever. As their preparations completed, they marched towards the walled river city that would soon gain the infamous name of Bloodstone Gorge. His bandits surrounded and broke into the city with force that rivaled any orcish army. The city's own guard force had less struggle with orcs than they did fighting Raventhrall's bandits. Raventhrall himself was described to be a blood-red cyclone on the battlefield. Militants that attempted to attack him were slain with extreme prejudice.
However, as victory inched close, Raventhrall would soon face his opposition. That opposition being no one else but his right-hand-man. As he tried to fight through his confusion and rage, he would eventually succumb to his wounds. It was a bloody stalemate that ultimately led to the destruction of the city, but also to his own group. His group had once again become a scattered bunch of raiders. His close friend, right-hand-man, and eventual traitor would soon proceed to take his own life after some time running from bounty hunters. Buried with him was his Commander's two bloody swords.
Raventhrall's infamy was powerful enough that the forces of the multiverse would store his soul not in the hells, but in the so-called Hall of Heroes. Some revered him as a symbol of untamed strength and raw power, while others despised him as the epitome of cruelty and chaos. Whatever the perspective, none could deny that his legacy left an indelible mark on the lands he had once sought to conquer.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Raventhrall, after witnessing his village be destroyed by bandits, rose to great power in the world of banditry. Like a powerful hobgoblin warlord, he amassed an ever-growing army of raiders that would attack villages he saw fit to be his. With each raid, he gained money, power, and infamy.
Mental Trauma
When Raventhrall was a teenager, he was forced into hiding in his parents' basement while bandits stormed the village. He heard the screams of innocent lives having everything taken from them. Those that tried to fight back were slain in cold blood. His inactions and inability to do anything led to severe mental trauma and a huge sense of vengeance against all those that wronged him.
Morality & Philosophy
Raventhrall's trauma led to a warped sense of morality. To him, the world forced him to go through unimaginable suffering. Being left with almost nothing would soon turn him into a man that held a "nothing to lose" attitude. If his victims refuse to back down, they're basically asking for death. His kill count is supported by his lack of empathy for those he kill.
