Demographics

Rockville's population is mostly consisted of humans, halflings, gnomes, and dwarves. Small pocket populations of other races do exist. Most of the population fall within the middle class, with a very small wealthy and poor class.

Government

Rockville's government is a parliamentary government. Members of parliament gather to discuss bills, laws, as well as go over the daily reports of the city.

Defences

Rockville's defenses are pretty limited. The city has a 10ft tall stone wall surrounding the perimeter and guards do exist. However, guards are usually citizens with very little combative training. As such, private militia and mercenary groups are begrudgingly hired by the government to provide extra defenses from invasions from goblins and the like.

Architecture

The architecture of Gillsburg is quite standard, simple, and efficient. Wattle & daub construction is common to see. Some buildings may be made out of bricks, some may be fully made from wood, and some buildings are built to be as ascetic as possible with thatched rooves and cut-off walls.
