Order of the Five Elements
The Order of the Five Elements or Wu Fenzi style of meditation and fighting is an ancient military and spiritual order from Kara Tur in the far east.
The Five Elements refer to "the five types of chi dominating at different times". It is a fivefold conceptual scheme that explaisn a wide array of phenomena, from cosmic cycles, interaction between internal organs, the succession of political regimes, the properties of medicinal drugs, and the meaning of life. The Order's religious beliefs and rituals are intertwined with the rituals of daily life.
The "Five Phases" are Fire (火 huǒ), Water (水 shuǐ), Wood (木 mù), Metal (金 jīn), and Earth (土 tǔ).
The Order's chief monastery in Kara Tur was infected by powerful demons that converted and possessed the monks. Po Kanlee and four initiates proved immune to the corruption and fled to Seeker's Reach with the Order's sacred texts and religious objects, including the sacred Five Elements Brazier of Knowledge. They destroyed the monastery, fled west and eventually founded a new monastery in the Inner Reaches of Fultar.
The current Zen Master of Seeker's Reach is Han Kanlee and the Shukenja Lin Zenhi was trained there.
