Trystan

Trystan, is a young Celtic warrior serving a one year term indentured servitude to a party of adventurers.   Trystan was born a member of the Tarvish tribe in the Nation of Galletica. As teen he and his brother killed a member of the local wealthy family and lesser aristocracy.  The son of a wealthy sub chief insulted Trystan and his brother, who responded with the typical Celtic violence characteristic of honor based societies.  While they did not intend to kill the man, their violent response was excessive and shattered the victims skull.  Under Druidic law, the weregild for compensation is based on the worth of the victim, and Trystan's family were poor farmers. His family did not have the wealth to repay the weregild, and their land was confiscated and they were enslaved until they could repay their debts. Trystan feared for his life and refused to work for those who had dishonored him and his family, and fled the Nation of Galletica with hopes of returning to rescue his family.   Trystan reached Sinann and joined with a group of young Celtic warriors that hired themselves out to a pair of half-orc merchants, gnome kidhappers and smugglers--the brothers Cymderig Gwenu and Torig Gwenu. The brothers Crannog headquarters was attacked by the party of adventurers, who killed the half-orcs and either killed or chased off all the Celtic warriors in Gwenus' Crannog and Down the Kozar River: Game 2. Trystan alone was captured.   The party provided Trystan the option of death or one year of slavery. With this Hobsons Choice, he choose a year of slavery and has served loyally.
His combating training is in the spear, short word and sling.  While bright, he has few other skills.
