King Adalard III

Adalard was born in 628. He was the first child of Adalard II. He grew up in the royal palace at Capital City Vashin, where he received a proper education. At age 16, he was sent to study magic at the Academy in Solis. While there, he met and fell in love with a young woman named Celia. They were married two years later.
When Adalard returned home, he took over the running of the kingdom. He immediately began expanding the borders of Alshar. In 662, he conquered the small kingdom of Gildenheim. A year later, he annexed the city-state of Solis. By this time, the kingdom of Alshar stretched all the way from the sea to the northern mountains.
In 676, King Adalard III died suddenly. His son, Raelin, became king at the tender age of ten.
