A Myth about Ice Wine

Ice Wine is an important drink in Hetu Kɑnabe culture as they believe that is was given to them by their gods.

The story of Ice Wine's origin as it is told by the Hetu Kɑnabe is one of divine intermention. In the early days of Ell Brich Mächaumpf saw that the people need for a special beverage to bring warmth to them during the long cold days of Ell Brich. The drink would need to endure the freezing temperatures and develop into a unique and sweet nectar.    During the process of making wine Tru helped by teaching the people to work only during the days that the sun was shining and provided more sunny days to Ell Brich to allow people to tend to the delicate vineyards as the grapes grew and developed. His sister Voffa aided their uncle Lord Mächaumpf in showing the people how to press the wine by dancing on the grapes and giving them the phases of the moons to aid in pressing the wine. Due to her help many of the Hetu Kanabe associated different flavors of wine to the different phases of the moons. Before the pressing Thatia the Daughter of the Lord of Wine and Goddess of the Harvesttaought them who to harest the grapes for the pressing that would become wine.
