Wyvern

Basic Information

Anatomy

The Wyvern has a lizard-cat-like body with a snake-like neck. From the shoulders, two arm-like wings come from its body. Here the hands would be on the arm-like-wings are their claws. The wings are leathery and web-like. From the hips, there are three more limbs. First, are two legs. Each leg has a foot at the end. The foot has talon claws. The last limb that comes from the hips is the tail. The tail has a kite-like tail that has a scorpion barb at the end of its tail. From the snake-like neck, the head of the beast can be found. The head also looks kind of snake-like. The head has a long snout that has two nostrils at the very end. Near the back of the snout are two small eyes. One eye on each side of the head. The mouth is under the snout and is a part of the snout. The mouth has a lot of sharp teeth in it. On the back of the wyvern's head are two horns. The horns connect with the snout. The eyes can be found under the horns. Where the horns and the snout meet make something that looks like an eyebrow for the wyvern. Male wyverns will have spikes sticking out of its neck. The spikes will start at the horns and will go down to the wyvern's shoulders. The Wyvern has soft smooth scales. The scales are harder around the snout, horns, claws, and joints. The Wyvern has a smooth muscle structure and a sturdy skeleton.
