A purple knight berserker, Édouard always had control issues. As a youngling, he was considered an unofficial gatekeeper, not panicking in a fight with him meant you were ready to progress. Squired to a 'Grail knight', he kept up his prowess in battle to the point even in a mindless rage, his psy abilities made fighting him impossible for a telepathic foe. He was knighted after fighting a rogue Phervian lord that disabled several knights, only to find his powers not only useless but undone in the face Édouard. He was eventually hand-picked to consult with Oberon, the fey king, due to his disruptive pressence.
