Satyrs

One of the many fey races that appeared at the start of the Fey age. Satyrs are jovial and fun-loving, Often associated with the spring court when young, a few males move to the summer court as they grow.

Appreance

The lower half of a goat with the upper half of a Human, mostly. Satyrs often look youthful mid to late teens. Olive-skinned with dark hair, the nonhuman part of their top half is two horns atop their heads. These horns are the true tale of a Satyr's age, with each full circle taking two decades. The facial maturity of male Satyrs is linked to the actual maturity of the Satyr, with those who are more controlled and stoic growing beards.

Fanning out

Though like all the fey races, Satyrs appeared in the Dread Forest and stayed there at first, it wasn't long before the first few ventured out, joining several Rivell courts as bards. As more and more fanned out looking for festivities. Many of these joined traveling troops, courts, and even ships. Quite a few found their way to Elysia where they settled. The only areas Satyr didn't stay in were the majority of Frostmourn and the shifter wilds, due to the harshness of the conditions

political standing

Though originally part of The fey courts once satyrs started spreading, most countries declared Satyrs as a roaming race, this gives Satyrs the unique ability to act as messengers and news spreaders as they are rarely stopped at the border. This is normally done by males that are starting to shift more towards the summer court, however.

Magic

Though not all satyrs are magical when they do learn magic it is often geared more towards the illusionary and trickster magic of other spring court creatures.
