Dread Forest

The dread forest was once said to fuel the Draconic empire, providing game, fruit, and lumber to the majority of the empire. The Phervians took seeing this resource and started a massive lumbering project to fuel several colonies in the multiverse. Despite this, the forest never seemed to shrink. The dread forest also served as a hideout for escaped slaves throughout the Phervian's reign eventually turning into the Elvan city of Q'Thurlas. Full of wildlife it has been a source of lumber and game throughout the ages, its temperate climate helping grew a variety of trees. At the start of the Fey age, the Fairy court appeared in the western part of the forest, giving the age its name. It is also the location of the tear to the fire conflux that was created in 122 fey.   The forest gets its name from the many dangers that lurk within its trees, even before the Fey age. Not only home to the suspicious residents of Q'Thurlas, but feral Werebeasts, large predators unafraid of sentient beings, and a colony of giant spiders. Nature itself seems to come against those with less noble goals.
