Howl
You walk through the unfamiliar streets for a while, following nothing but the memory of the howl you heard before.
As you advance, you start to notice that each house seems smaller and older than the previous one, until you find yourself in a street where the single street lamp doesn't provide enough light to see around.
You stop in front of a ramshackle house with the porch's light on, thinking that you should go back. There's probably nothing to see here anyway.
As if to taunt you, another howl lets you know that you were in the right direction. That certainly changes things, even if now you are starting to be wary. You can't see what's ahead, after all.
You'll need light if you want to keep looking for that lost dog or interesting werewolf. Luckily, you have your smartphone in a pocket, hidden so it doesn't ruin the illusion of your costume. Or you could just take the flashlight that you conveniently notice in the steps of the porch. Is not yours, but, it could be for a while, right? Right.
So, what do you think?
