Zeppelin

The Zeppelin is a military vehicle utilized by the military of United Britannia and Hibernia. Although UBH has never officially gone to war, a fleet of 250 is kept by the Council in case of an emergency (as compared to the witches of America, who keep a fleet of 1500).
The Zeppelin is a triple threat: it can fly through the sky at speeds twice that of a human airplane, travel (although the correct term might be hover) over land, and explore the deeps of water up to twice that of a human submarine.

History

The Zeppelin was first built in the early 1900s and so named after their unsuccessful human counterpart. However, the present form of the Zeppelin has been in place since 1945. Although never used in war, UBH puts on "war games" every year to ensure that Legionaries are adequately trained in their use.

Weapons

The Zeppelins do not carry weapons of their own; they are merely transporting the weapons, which is the army of Legionaries.

Propulsion

Like with most vehicles in UBH, Zeppelins are powered by witches with Transportation Magic.

Military

The Exercitus Ilyriumus is made up active and reserve Legionaries. Zeppelin operators tend to be active Legionaries.

Invisibility

The Zeppelin is invisible to the human eye and also to other witches as well; the Zeppelin is lined with granite, which makes its magic invisible.
