The Sleeping Death
Plague / EpidemicThe Sleeping Death was a plague that swept through the Neverwinter woods taking the lives of many, decimating the population of Ebonmere. It's victims were asymptomatic for weeks at the beginning, allowing the plague to spread quickly between unknowing individuals. Once it showed itself it moved quickly; sapping energy and vitality from the victim until they had not the strength to get out of bed and eventually succumbing to an eternal slumber giving the plague it's name.
