Fate and Destiny
Two words that today are used interchangeably, but each carry their own meaning:
Fate is the predetermined course of events. Fate is fixed. Fate simply is.
Destiny is forged by the individual, ready to escape the clutches of mundanity.
Such is taught in Otherworld and amongst the Others of Our World.
The Àlfs see us all as harbingers of Fate. We do what we do, because we are meant to.
The Vettir believes in Destiny. The ability for strong-willed beings to take sword and carve out their own future - their path to greatness.
