Hypertube

The hypertube is a form of underground transport which replaced many previous underground railway networks and continues to be built as new underground networks. It carries passengers and freight.
The train cars travel at supersonic speeds through underground tubes, propelled forwards by a vacuum and electromagnetic suspension. At stations, both the tube and the train car doors open simultaneously to allow access. The average speed is 760 MPH.
