Venus

Second planet from Sol

Once terraforming is finished Venus will be like a tropical paradise, somewhere you might go for a honeymoon. Of course, you would expect no less from a planet named after a goddess of love.
Venus is the second planet of The Sol System and has a tilt of 177.7°. It has a global population of 2336 million spread across ??? nations, with its cities built in domed cities due to the high temperatures. Temperatures range from 50° to 300°. 9% of Venus's gravity is artificially generated.   It has an atmosphere of sulpher, carbon dioxide and nitrogen, which is unbreathable, meaning that the air must be filtered. The planet experiences a lot of cloudy weather.   Water is available, however it is highly acidic and must be filtered. 39% of Venus's energy is solar energy, 37% comes from kinetic sources, 12% is hydropower, 9% is wind power and 3% comes from filtering the clouds.   Its major industries include mining. Most transportation is achieved with boats, hovervehicles, hypertubes and planes, whilst some landvehicles are in use. It is a popular tourist destination due to its beaches, although they can mostly only be visited whilst wearing a spacesuit.   People from Venus are called Venusians, and products from Venus are described as Venusian.   Terraformers have experienced setbacks due to the cloud coverage and thick atmosphere. However both the thickness of the atmosphere and the cloud coverage have been reduced, so Venus should be able to be terraformed with time.
