Geris Tymol

Geris Tymol is the Supreme Legate of The Imperial Legion, the highest ranking military official in the Imperial government and with the recent death of Emperor Ataleus quite possibly the single most powerful individual in The Empire. Since his success in suppressing the rebellion at Underhold and his acsension to the rank of Supreme Legate Tymol has largely operated out of the Imperial capital of Philos. Though his roots are in his home province of Heartrock.   Tymol was born to an unknown mother in the city of Holdstone, where he quickly became orphaned and grew up on the streets. Until as a teenager he joined up with The Imperial Legion, entering during a conscriptment drive called by then Emperor Amarius Tull. The young boy took to Legion life quickly, graduating from hard labor duties to soldiering in no time, before being named a Decanus before his 18th birthday and Centurion by his 20th. He'd go on to lead Imperial Intelligence in southern Heartrock demonstrating an exceptional talent for infiltrating criminal and rebel organizations alike in the town of Merport.   He'd go on to establish a permanent fortification for the Legion in the southern plains of Heartrock that his legionaires would jokingly call "Fort Tymol". From here the now Commander Tymol would direct the front lines of ongoing counter-rebellion efforts in his home province along its borders with Bomac and its shores on Selindor's Sound. Upon his contemporary Ataleus Tull's rise to the Imperial Seat of Power, Tymol would be name Legate of the Southern Legion and the new face of Imperial security against dangerous rebels. This would give him control of all the forces in Heartrock, The Ash Lands and a newly formed garrison for security in Bomac which he'd award command of to his protege Boren Dalis. He'd hold this post until the Brimstone Keep Revolt at the end of the 7th era, following which he'd be given the newly created title of Supreme Legate of The Imperial Legion. The ultimate defender of the Empire.
