Fan-axe, Double

The double fan-axe has a crescent shaped blade at both ends of a 5-foot-long haft. Unlike the regular fan-axe, the double fan-axe is typically used while on foot. Because of the blades at each end of the weapon, it must be held in the middle of its haft which reduces the momentum of its swings while mounted. The double fan-axe does not deal double damage when used during a mounted charge. This variant of the weapon is meant more for a weaving and slashing fighting style rather than the heavy swings used with the regular fan-axe.
