Bakemono

The Beast Kingdoms that dominate most of eastern Seotan were once the proud homelands of the kobolds who eventually resettled in Lucidor. Ruled by the terrible oni, the "bakemono" are hardly a culture so much as a horde that scavenges the ruins of the Third World and ravages the land like locusts. Made up of many varieties of beastfolk but especially bandars and gnolls, the Kingdoms are becoming increasingly infiltrated by the yuan-ti and their machinations. Just as much as Orokhon and the old kobold realm of Inugama exhibited some of the greatest achievements of the beastfolk, the bakemono are a twisted mockery of them, reducing them to a baser state.
