Kokytos

Kokytos, the Fifth Hell, is a frozen ocean with islands of sharp obsidian glass piercing through it. Some of these islands float in the blinding gray haze of the sky, and from them arcs of lightning strike the ice and create bursts of a cold white fire that "burns" for hours and flash freeze everything that it touches. Levistus is a prisoner here as well as its archdevil, frozen deep beneath the surface, though his screams can be heard always in the back of one's mind when they are there, as well as his sweet whispers. His frozen Throne gives him the Principle of Atrocity.
