Lethe

Lethe, the Sixth Hell, is a curious place of mind-twisting geometry filled with black mist, where stones roll uphill and one falls eternally into the sky if one lets go of your handholds. A perpetually blowing hurricane-like wind causes a driving sussuration that one cannot keep out of one's hearing. The constant rockfalls and winds not only endanger your spirit, but steal your memory and essence. Fortresses made of copper are the only places one can stand and feel oriented. The Hag Countess Lamagarde rides around on one of these great boulders, crushing anything that stands in her path with a wicked cackle, with her predecessor Geryon being both her pet and the source of the power that drives it. She is the archdevil of this Hell, who claims the Principle of Despair.
