Marach

Descended from Riaani slaves taken from Talingarde by Ornassi corsairs who escaped into the wide savannahs of Zafara, the Marach traded the steppe wolf for the warcat, and abandoned the peaceful ways of their cousins to become elite warriors, and fight in coalition with the tribes of Kadinka and the Herathbled to push back against Palladian conquistadors. They worship the goddess Zoryan and spurn Mitra, and see Ez as her consort.
