Noddite
Once the proud masters of Zafara, descended from satraps of the Telvar who decided to set out on their own. They were a death and magic obsessed culture that was one of the few who managed to hold the darkness of the Fourth World at bay, at no small cost. They at first allied with the elves against the tanar'ri, but once it was clear the demons had been mostly vanquished, they attempted to betray the elves. Unfortunately, their fractious and power-hungry society left them vulnerable from within, and the creatures they intended to destroy the elves with (the hobgoblins) ended up playing a role in their own destruction. Today, the Land of Nod is a desolate place, and the Noddites a people haunted by the ghosts of a dead empire and foreboding black pyramids, hiding in the shadows of great cliffs from terrifying dinosaurs and hordes of Un-Dead. They have some connection to the people of the Keshkevar, both in lineage and destiny, that is unclear to both cultures.
