Orokhon

The Condor Khans of Orokhon are, like the Inugama kobolds, one of the most advanced beastfolk civilizations of the Sixth World. Dominated by the aaracockra, nomadic but highly learned, they are ruled by a uneasy alliance between wizard "khans" who build their clans with arcane might, and a priesthood of "dragon priests" who worship slumbering wyrms that they have found across Uskara. Indeed, the Orokhon have mostly vacated Seotan in the wake of the Beast Kingdoms, settling in Zafara, Algoboa, and Ornassus in places remote to most other peoples, searching for the shards of the Third World and the slumbering wyrms. They are highly adaptable and fond of using that recovered technology to their advantage. They also have the only aerial might that can check the Commonwealth's power, which has lead to the Free Coalition attempting to court some of the khans to their side, but the Orokhon are proud and look down on demihumans as lesser beings, in an inverse of how the beastfolk are otherwise treated, and instead see themselves as the true inheritors of the civilization of the dragons. None have made it yet to Talingarde, though there are scattered roosts of aaracockra in the Skysongs.
