Sarpajit

The people of the Vitrianata archipelago were renowned across Uskara for their hospitality, and with open hearts they welcomes many cultures and would-be overlords from the Telvar, to the Ysians, to the Ornassi, and each time they tamed these conquerors with the beauty and plenty of their lands. Combined with treacherous waters and volcanic activity controlled by their witch-gurus, and their mastery of astrology only outmatched by the Rodkhora and their ilk, they were able to maintain their own identity and independence through millenia. Then the yuan-ti came and changed everything. Twisted by the influence of these beings from the inside out and completely hollowed out, those who were not sacrificed to quicken the slumbering serpent god or transformed into horrific ophidian abominations are now merely extensions of this vile force of Evil, though a smattering of resistance still attempts to maintain their ways. Now known as Sarpajit, the becalmed islands now harbor emerald-sailed ships that travel across Uskara, bringing poison, narcotics and corruption in their wake.
