With it being known as the breadbasket of Enor Daeg, Evoria boasts the best bakers in the continent. For millennia, the people from this rich region have grown grains for consumption. Way back in the 3rd era the tribes and clans planted their crops in the good soil. Blessings, and sacrifices, of Pelor and Chauntea have ensured this land receives bountiful harvests century after century.
The bakers in the past viewed bread and the art of baking as just that: art. They wore special uniforms to designate themselves as bakers. Breads were their staple, but as sugar from across the Taz'mattan Sea poured in through the Riverlands pastries became common.
In the Breadbasket, bakers are common. Bakers here must use innovative techniques and ideas to stand out. The city Forgon, the "capital" of Breadbasket, has a baker's academy called "The Fold." Here, bakers come from around Enor Daeg to train under the finest bakers. The academy even offers teleportation services — for a fee, of course. From the academy the graduates go and set up their own shops and stores.
