Overview
Situated between the shadow of the Highlands and Tambux Wood, the Breadbasket is the most fertile for wheat in the country. It receives good amounts of rain from the humid Medder Forest just to the north and from Tambux Lake to the west. The rivers that divides up the Breadbasket are prone to flooding, but this can be used to easily water crops.
History
The Breadbasket has been guarded by all surrounding areas and given a permanent status of neutral. Even in the Clannish Wars no region claimed it as their own and allowed free trade from it to all surrounding areas. In the Clannish Wars they became their own neutral faction, forming the Confederacy of Bread.
Geography
Fertile grassland with some woods and hills and cliffs.
Flora & Fauna
Foxes are notorious pests in the Breadbasket. Most farmers have chickens, so foxes are seen as a major annoyance.
Natural Resources
Wheat is the gold currency here. So much is grown and sold to virtually the entire country.
