Catholonika

The mountainous and dark country east of the Jagged Peaks in Sefir Daeg. Many forests line the mountainsides, and farms in the lowlands to the east and south. This war-scarred country is seen as otherworldly by outsiders, and this is due to their ages-long constant war with Caphitolia.

Regions

Greecore

Starting the portmanteaus, Greecore is the "green core" of western Catholonika. Home to many wild animals, tribes upon tribes of druids, and many forts to assert control. It is the largest region, a truly vast wilderness just south of the more temperate and cool — and unknown — North.

Urlank

The name derives from an old dialect of "up" and "land". These are the hills along the hinterlands before the large hills and mountains of the Jagged Peaks. The soil here is great for grazing and there are plentiful trees and even caves to underground treasures. Ruins are plentiful here.

Hinterlank

The largest region on this side of the Jagged Peaks, made of plains and some hills. It is the central region that surrounds the capital, Thateokenik.

Qaath Country

Named after the ruling dynasty, this subregion of the Hinterlank has been utterly transformed by magic and centuries of occupation. It holds Thateokenik and is the seat of power with the crown ruling from here.

Boulder Country

The land between the southern mountains and hills and the southern lowlands is known as Boulder Country due to the prominent, large boulders. Many use the boulders as shelters.

Qombar

The eastern lowlands, a predominantly agricultural region with plentiful fields and farms. Towards the south they tend to grow maize as the humidity helps facilitate healthy growth. The northern and western edges of Qombar are ripe for wheat or fruits.

Moradincoast

The laziest of the country's portmanteaus. It is so named due to its volcanic origin and black beaches. This region encompasses the eastern coastline.
