Very Intimate

Austell and Gynn share a deep friendship. Many of their cousins marry and their purple-haired spawn bring joy and strong ties along with them. Together, their network is vast and between the two families they know or know of just about everyone who is someone.

Intimate Transactional

Whereas Joliffe denies Austell at everything, Penhallow knows how to deal with Austell, and are rewarded for it. Austell claims they made Penhallow who they are, but Penhallow made itself and merely found a good agreement. Many guards are always sure to be by House Austell and its kin.

Agreable

Austell very much appreciates Galtey-Inch's stoic philosophy with business. They often see Galtey-Inch as their go-to-bank whenever they need money to acquire funds through mercantilism.

Friendly

Austell and Boden share dealings going back hundreds of years. When Bolitho needs equipment, manpower, or recognition, Austell helps them out. Some distant cousins are even married.

Friendly

Austell sees Bolitho as boring and subservient to all. Austell often tries to bring them up, but Bolitho are raised as servers and taught how to obey. They have backed each other numerous times in court or other endeavors.

Friendly

Austell use Wickett as barristers or legal help, which Wickett reluctantly do. Wickett sees Austell as provocateurs but profitable.

Flowing trade

Ninnis provides excellently crafted jewels and product for Austell to market out. Ninnis receives their shrewd share of funds, much to Austell's chagrin. At the agreement, Austell thought Ninnis simple, and so were caught off guard when Ninnis came with keen business sense and bargained for great cuts of profit.

Placating agreement

Kivner helps Austell but doesn't trust to get paid on time. Austell says this was a simple oversight a decade ago and all's well now. Austell uses Kivner's excellent guards for their business.

Austell sees Tregonning as more wasted potential who are set on matters of religion and defense. Tregonning sees good sense in providing protection for all, and comfort to those who need it.

Agreeable

Until recently there was no need for Rosewall's services inside Evoria. Austell sees Rosewall as wasted potential, Rosewall sees themselves as latent talent that is now on the cusp of great things, mark their words.

Lukewarm

Clymo chide Austell for its sins and lavishness. Austell finds Clymo stuffy. Regardless they have done business before, though investments are short lived.

Bitter disagreement

Austell tried to reason with Joliffe on many occasions, but the House is unmoving. Long ago, Austell tried to smuggle goods from Rerya and Joliffe caught them and made them pay fines and vied for imprisonment. Austell tries to make shady amends, and Joliffe stands resolute in their rebuke to this day.

Ambivalent

These two houses rarely interact. Austell sees missionary work as a complete waste of time and Cowling believes Austell could be useful to Pelor if they used their silver tongues for him.

Rocky

Nancarrow doesn't appreciate Austell's distinct irreligious business, despite them donating resources to Pelor and Moradin. Austell also donates much to other religions, which offends Nancarrow. They assume any Austell gift isn't without strings.

Envious/Neutral

Whereas Austell is braggadocios and lively with trade and deals, Penhaligon is serene and fastidious in their plans and dealings. Penhaligon eschews obscene competition, keeping their noses to the grind, which makes Austell more furious when they came up with more funds than them.

Neutral

Austell has tried for many decades to get themselves into good graces with Godden, but Godden are averse to all praise, instead focusing on their works and deeds and detached business.

Unforgiving

There is little in common between Trivithick and Austell. The few times interactions have occurred, Trivithick has publicly humiliated Austell's intelligence by asking if their family requires assistance with education, something Austell boasted they do not need. It became a running joke for many years after that "Educators are Trivithick, Austell are just Thick."

Do not acknowledge

Austell is the only house Treseder despises. They do not get along, even when Sumpter stepped in 50 years ago to make them make peace. Austell thinks they are without much worth, spending all their resources for lavish and unprofitable lifestyles. Treseder sees Austell as snobbish and charlatans.

Forced Neutrality

Bickering amongst Austell and Vialy existed well before Austell was a Great House, and things became shimmering when Vialy became the chief suppliers of Keepëré, a title Austell desired. Their forced neutrality came from Sylvain who ordered they make amends and suggested they never do business again. Both agreed.
