Order of the Gauntlet

The Order of the Gauntlet has its roots in southern Kormice, with the original establishment of Ridgegate. Staunch protectors of all living and "good" peoples of Evoria, the Gauntlet eschews mortal conflict in search of protecting from the immortal, doomsday threats. Specializing in anti-undead, anti-demon, anti-cult warfare, these warriors gladly serve their communities with an open palm. They appropriate the religions of Chauntea, the largest in the region, Pelor, Moradin, and Bahamut, though Bahamut worshipers are closeted due to stigma against dragons and dragonkin. The Order of the Gauntlet found itself in opposition to its home after Ridgegate declared itself on the side of the King's Force in the War of the Throne. They found themselves in a crucible because they refuse to fight or help either side. They fight was not against any of the factions at play, and so they were shunned. Recently, they were exiled from the city by Kosdos Makarnon, someone said to have been from Yym's Vergarian Guard. Puzzling, because the Vergarian Guard are never seen outside the city, and rarely outside the Yym Keep grounds.
