Military action
The King's Force, hot in pursuit of the Democracy, managed to catch up to the quickly retreating army. The Democracy rounded themselves and tried to strike out against them, but the King's Force engineers started to figure out the machines of war. One of the large spear-arrows pierced the Democracy cavalry commander, Julean Everbranch. The Democracy fell back again, but the King's Force did not follow as hotly as they had, their soldiers spent and winter setting in.
