Elysia

The fertile grazing grasslands and farmlands between Louvryit and Dalth'it. Rivals Tambuxia for its fertility.   Koppen: Dsa

Geography

Fertile, green grazing pastures extend from the Bastion of Stone upon which Hlee sits down to the Crown, from the sandy hills of the Wasterlies to the foothills of the Gologian Mountains. The name of this region is taken directly from the plane of lawful good. Named well before humans were introduced to it.   Koppen: Dsa

Ecosystem Cycles

Vernal. The spring brings rain from Lake Tambux from the south. This replenishes the fields and makes tilling and planting easier.   Summer. Summer is hot with some rain, perfect for readying harvest.   Autumn. Cooler temperatures usher in the perfect harvesting weather. Little rain but not uncommon.   Winter. Cold and dry. Community events are almost essential during this time. Some snow towards the end of the season, a presage of the next vernal.

Fauna & Flora

Trees to the south and east near mountains. Prairie for the rest of it with some livestock but mostly farms of grain.

Natural Resources

Rich soil for planting, hence it's title as Blessèd Fields. There is plenty of grain and some livestock as well.

History

Before mortal inhabitation, the fields were bare of all but the most hardy grasses. These were the common grounds of the pre-mortal Diomite Horde. After mortals began to settle, though, they brought agriculture with them and tamed the desolate fields with the rain from Lake Tambux.

Tourism

The bountiful golden fields are a sight to behold. In the late summer and autumn the windmills doing their work is quite romantic. Although mostly flat, there are little hills that provide a great vantage point to see many farms and beautiful sunsets.
